The Lab

Built to think. Things made with language models, APIs, and lots of curiosity.

AI, LLM, Prototyping, Creative Coding

Ongoing experiments

These are the projects that live between case studies β€” fast, exploratory builds where the question drives the making. Some are tools, some are toys, others are somewhere in between. All of them started with a "what if something could do this?"

01

Storyblock Builder

A collaborative AI storytelling web app where users co-author branching narratives. Each block is a story beat the model helps expand, twist, or redirect β€” building toward something neither author would have written alone.

The City Dog Times

Dogs in New York City are better dressed than most people I know. I've spent many afternoons on park benches documenting this. I've filled sketchbooks with dachshunds in ruffled gowns, poodles in polka dots, French bulldogs radiating quiet indignation. So I took all my sketches and built The City Dog Times! You can dress up one of my hand-drawn NYC dogs, write a message on the back of a postcard, and send it to someone who deserves it. Colour pencil texture, airmail border, NYT editorial aesthetic, the works.

Art as Oracle

A tarot-inspired art education app that pulls works from the Met's Open Access collection and reads them as symbolic responses to questions you bring. The model doesn't describe the art β€” it interprets it, for you, right now.

What UX Research Method Are You?

A personality quiz that matches how you think, work, and ask questions to a UX research method. Usability test? Diary study? Card sort? The model reads your answers and tells you who you really are in the research room.

Gravity

A solar system interface for the MoMA collection. Artworks orbit each other by concept, period, and medium β€” with AI surfacing the invisible pulls between them. Search becomes navigation through a living constellation.

Through

An AI-powered art exploration tool using the Met Open Access API and Gemini. Follow your curiosity across the collection β€” finding unexpected resonances between works rather than search results. Submitted to Young Ones One Show and DNA Paris.
